Giancarlo Sorrentino

Giancarlo Sorrentino is a Researcher at Institute of Sciences and Technologies for Sustainable Energy and Mobility (STEMS) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR). He completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering at Università di Napoli Federico II in 2013.

His research focuses on innovative combustion processes, atomization of liquid spray, MILD combustion, CFD modelling of reactive turbulent flows, tabulated chemistry methods, gas-phase chemical kinetics for advanced thermo-chemical processes, optical diagnostics for characterization of reactive flows, characterization and modelling of radiative heat transfer, advanced sensing techniques.
